O.K. There are these studio-albums of Neal Morse you have to have, but where was that one Live-record that wasn't in the collection yet? Well, here it is, at last I would say!

I was lucky to see Neal Live last year in Zoetermeer, Holland, in a venue called "De Boerderij" (see poster below), with an outstanding band of Dutch session-musicians + Carl Palmer Band guitarist Paul Bielatowicz. What could I expect? Well, I was surprised to hear the entire "?"-album, as well as highlights from "One" and an "old medley" mainly from Spock's Beard's "Snow"-album.

The concert was in one word fantastic! The guys and girl on stage had a great time and the audience was very enthousiastic, apart from a few noisy beerdrinkers who, in my opinion, didn't came for the concert but only for the booze. How sad! During some acoustic parts in the concert they were irritating present, and most of the audience tried to look them away, but unfortunately it didn't work! Luckily Neal didn't pay any attention and played as they were not there! And at the end of the show he really absorbed in his musical performance and let his emotions and tears run free. After all these bands and artists I've ever seen, this was the first time I ever saw this happening by someone on stage.

What's left to say, then here's another Neal Morse-album that needs to be in every progrockfan's recordcollection (yes, I'm from the record-era)!!
Great music, great musicians, great voices, great performance, great emotions, great album... Question Mark? Exclamation Sign!
